  1. Remove casings from sausage and place sausage in a large pot. Break into bite-sized pieces with a wooden spoon and cook over medium-high heat, stirring often, for 5 minutes.
  2. Add onion and fennel; cook for 5-10 minutes or until the vegetables are very soft and meat is cooked through.
  3. Add tomatoes and seasoning; cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add beans and cook for 5 minutes more.
  5. Serve with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Notes on the recipe:

I didn’t use “turkey sausage”, just regular “Italian hot sausage”. Don’t forget to sprinkle with Parmesan – Anne Bourdens
